Parking: On-site parking is limited. Expect to walk from off-site parking close to start time. Our advice: arrive early. Also, the parking lot is unlined dirt, so we need to ask that you please park a reasonable (close) distance from the cars next to you. This will help ensure we have enough parking.

Course: This is a trail run. It is very scenic and a nice alternative from city streets, but it is not paved. Jog strollers are NOT advised on the course.

Water: We will have 1 water station on the course as well as at the finish line.

Timing: This event is a fun run. We do track the top finishers for men, women, boys (12 & under) and girls (12 & under) for awards purposes. We do not publish times for all racers. We will call times at the 1 mi and 2 mi markers, as well as the finish line where we will have a clock. If you are a serious runner who really wants to know your time, be sure to check the clock or wear a stop watch.

Activities: This is a kid friendly event with activities for the whole family. There will be live music from HullaBalloo and Rhiannon, face painting and kids' activities, an Expo with vendors and a drawing with great prizes like a Pioneer portable satellite radio/MP3 player, a Samsung Blackjack Smartphone, jewelry, massages and restaurant gift certificates. Be sure to bring some cash so you can get in on the action!
