Help kids like our Curren

As many of you know, our son Curren was born with a heart defect and has spent numerous months at Rady Children's Hospital. He has undergone 2 major open heart surgeries and several smaller scale procedures, with one more surgery still ahead. He is our little hero!! This little boy has endured more than most can imagine, and yet you would never know it from looking at him.

Curren is such a strong spirit, a ball of energy. This kid never seizes to amaze us...nor does he ever let us rest. Yes...he definately keeps us busy, but WOW...what a gift he is. He brings our family so much joy!!

We are so thankful for the staff and facility of Rady Children's Hospital Heart Institute for all they have done for Curren and our family. We are grateful every day to have Curren with us and we owe that in large part to Children's Hospital. They help hundreds of kids every day and allow them to live wonderful lives.

We could never fully express our gratitude to the staff of Rady's, but we have decided to participate in the Max and Jake 5K race to help raise money for the cardiology department as a token of our appreciation. We hope that with your help we can make a difference by donating to this wonderful cause.

You know we wouldn't ask if we didn't believe in the cause...but this is something that is near and dear to us and we would GREATLY appreciate any donation you would be willing to make. Please help support us in supporting the foundation that has made such a difference in our lives.
